Autumn colour has arrived at Bexley Garden Centre!

Autumn might bring cooler days, but your garden can still shine with warmth and colour. We’ve stocked up on a stunning selection of autumn plants perfect for containers, doorsteps, borders and festive displays.

Whether you’re after seasonal colour, texture, or berries that last well into winter, we’ve got something for every space. Here’s a peek at what’s currently in stock:

Autumn Heather (Calluna vulgaris & Erica varieties)

A true autumn staple! These hardy evergreen plants are ideal for pots, baskets or borders. Available in soft pinks, purples and festive dyed colours (like vibrant reds and blues), heathers thrive in well-drained soil and bring long-lasting texture through the colder months.

Chrysanthemums (Garden Mums)

These dense, dome-shaped plants are covered in colourful buds just waiting to burst open. Available in shades of burgundy, orange, peach and yellow, they’re brilliant for instant autumn impact and last well into the season.

Cyclamen

With heart-shaped, marbled leaves and vivid blooms in red, pink or white, cyclamen are compact, cheerful and ideal for shady corners or underplanting in containers.

Skimmia japonica (with ornamental chillies)

Skimmia is a must-have for autumn/winter displays – those deep green leaves and tight clusters of red buds offer lasting colour and structure. Often paired in mixed pots with fiery ornamental chillies for a bold seasonal combo.

Jerusalem Cherry (Solanum pseudocapsicum)

These festive-looking plants produce small orange and red berries that resemble cherry tomatoes. A striking addition to autumn displays, but do note they’re not edible and should be kept away from pets and young children.
